Better known as the (welcomed) third wheel in Brad and Rachael's relationship. Dylan and Rachael met in college freshman year through friends at Quadrangle Dorm (RIP). Dylan has become Rachael's travel and concert buddy this past year as well. She has an infectious laugh and appreciates a good flower bouquet from Chicago's farmers markets!
Hector Herrera

Hector was the first person Brad befriended when moving to the city. He still laughs at Brad wearing a suit to his interview at Subaru. Since then, Brad's famous yellow sweats are now Hector's favorite. As close as Brad and Hector are, somehow, Rachael finds more in common with him as they both have a soft spot for reality TV or "DRAMA." If you ever need to find this man, better check Four Shadows or the golf course.
Lindsey Finger

Lindsey and Rachael first met in Mrs. Kazin's algebra class, where Rachael and Lindsey got little to nothing done. As a Seattle native, Lindsey has always had a sense for adventure and travel, something that Rachael and Brad have always admired. Lindsey alongside bridesmaids Allie and Katlyn is always down for a good sing along and a foreign accent or two. Lindsey couldn't claim title of 'best man' like Brad had hoped for so Rachael is hoping she settles for bridesmaid!
David Wilson
Groomsman
Dave is another one of Brads first friends when making the move to the city. They got to know each other while working together at Subaru, but now they can be found smoking meats out back or finding the best dive bar. Only had to bribe Dave with not having to cook to join this group!
Michael Carrero

Michael rounds out the Carrero kid pack. When Rachael was considering which high school to attend, Michael was responsible for suggesting Rachael take a look at Mother McAuley, an incredibly impactful part of Rachael's life. Growing up Rachael could always be silly and goofy with Michael, and Rachael always tried to find an excuse to spend time with him despite their 6 year age difference. This native New Yorker always prioritizes a good bagel experience when Brad and Rachael stop in for a weekend visit. Brad and Rachael are forever grateful to Michael as well for gifting them their two incredible nieces.
Meg Carrero

Meg, or 'SIL' has fulfilled the role of sister that Rachael never had long before she even married Rachael's older brother Michael. When Rachael had gained the freshmen 15 pretty quickly at University of Iowa, Meg Facebook messaged Rachael and old picture of her scarfing down a Panchero's burrito to make Rachael feel better. Meg has always been the life of the party with her infectious laugh and incredible fashion sense. Rachael and Brad are so grateful to Meg for not only providing another sister to the mix, but a couple of adorable nieces as well.
Ryan Carrero

Ryan, or Rico, is one of Rachael's older brothers and the middle child of 'Team C.' Father to Zara (woof) and husband to our Mechita, Ryan has always been the most thoughtful family member and also the most down to party until 4 AM. The way to his heart is a large super six pizza with extra sauce, baked in the old oven from Aurelio's and a six pack of Spotted Cow's.
Mercedes Carrero

Mercedes aka Mechita has been such a kind, caring addition to Rachael’s family in marrying her brother this past year. She’s known for many things, including someone who has great ability to riff with her father in law, but by far her most important role is dog mom to Zara. Rachael and Brad appreciate going to visit Ryan and Mechita in Minneapolis because they know they will always have a great time, especially in getting to cuddle with Zara!

Hannah McFarland

Hannah is the sister of the groom. After 21 long years, Hannah will finally be getting the sister she has been asking for. Although, we think she is happier it came so late so she never had to share any of her "princess" attention growing up. Hannah was always first to tag along with Brad and Rachael on ice cream dates and trips to walk around Target. Now we look forward to upgrading to fun city dinners, but also still ice cream and Target....
Vincent Vallos

Vincent aka Vinny has been one of Brad’s longest gaming friends whom he met over another shared interest, beer. High chances are, if you hear yelling or laughing coming from our home office, Vinny is on the other end of it. You'll be able to hear Vinny yelling "RACHAEL" during most of the wedding reception. Like Brad, Vinny knew how to find a good quality McAuley girl to settle down with.
Katlyn Golniewicz

Katlyn, more commonly referred to as 'Dawg,' became fast friends with Rachael after having to hide bud lights in the sofa of a mutual friend in high school. Even though Dawg and Rachael are older, the goofing off has never stopped. Both Brad and Rachael never turn down a double date opportunity with Katlyn and her husband Drew who have both become such dependable friends who always guarantee a good time with a lot of laughs.
Nick Vallos

Nick nack patty whack. Older brother to Vinny, nick is also a part of the gaming crew. Nick and Brad have been going to beer releases, slaying dungeons, and grilling steaks for years. This night get might get wild so thankfully we will have fireman Nick there to keep us safe! Accept help at your own risk..
Allie Small

Ask anyone about Allie and they will most definitely respond with the following: "she is the nicest person I have ever met!" Allie once sent a 'thank you' text to Rachael for sending her a thank you card for attending Rachael's graduation party. Allie has recently become a Colorado native alongside her husband and adorable dogs Clover and Clifford. Rachael is forever grateful to Allie for cheating alongside her in Ms. Brown's anatomy and physiology class.
Jenee Trujillo

Jenee and Rachael met first in HS at a party at Rachael's house (sorry mom and dad) and became close friends once both at college at the University of Iowa. Like Dylan, Jenee has become so close to Brad as well through the years. Rachael could always count on Jenee to meet her at the IMU to study on a Sunday morning after partying at DC's all night on Saturday.
Maggie

This is Monkey Maggie, cousin/goddaughter of the groom and the life of any party. When Brad and Rachael asked Maggie to be one of their flower girls, she questioned "do I have to learn any lines?" Maggie has grown to be incredibly creative person and a true performer at heart. Something that drew Rachael to Brad before they even matched on tinder was the adorable picture of Maggie and he on his tinder profile.
Zach

Meet Zebra Zach, Brad's cousin and mini me. Just like Brad, Zachy shares the esteemed title of carrying the Terrence (middle) name. Just like grandpa Terrence, Zachy is sweet as can be but always appears to be up to something.. stick around for just a few minutes and you typically find out what he has been plotting.

"If [Brad] doesn't marry [Rachael], than I will!" -Alligator Al, cousin to Brad. The future rock star will not be shredding the guitar on our big night but he does promise to help anyone find their way to the desserts. Give this kid a good book and a quiet corner and he is content!
Willa

If anyone would object to this marriage it would be Willa, only because she prefers her uncle "Bwad" over her own godmother Rachael. Willa LOVES to talk on her Bluey cellphone and spend her free time playing in Central Park most days. Being Brad and Rachael's first niece, she has absolutely stolen their hearts during her mere 3 years of life. This will be Willa's second time being a flower girl. She stole the show at Uncle Ryan and Aunt Mechita's wedding so we can only imagine that she will bring the same amount of cuteness and energy this time around!
Blair

Although she is small and quiet, Blair does not lack on sweetness and personality. She loves to giggle, smile and hang out with her older sister Willa. Making Brad and Rachael aunt and uncle two times over, Blair is another native New Yorker who has a special spot in the bride and groom's hearts. She continues to master walking and saying words like "dog" and should be walking down the aisle like a pro by 10/18/24!
Josh Bretl

Before Rachael and Brad were even engaged, they knew 'Minister' Josh would be the perfect person to marry them. Much of Rachael and Brad's love for good food and wine has been inspired by the good taste and incredible culinary experiences that Josh and his wife Moe have shared. Rachael has always felt spiritually connected to Josh as they both struggle with motion sickness and will absolutely tell you about this even though you didn't ask. Some of Rachael and Brad's best memories involve Josh, a few bottles of wine, and a ton of late night laughs.
