It all started with a swipe right in 2023 — thanks, Bumble! Neither of us could have guessed that a few messages would turn into something so real, so easy, and so us. From the very beginning, we made it work — even with an hour-and-fifteen-minute drive between us, a stubborn old truck that didn’t always cooperate, and some pretty unconventional living arrangements (yes, at one point Rachael lived in a cemetery — long story — and Blake’s “camper days” deserve their own sitcom). When Blake met Rachael, she came with two cats — a full package deal he swore he wasn’t a “cat person” for. Fast forward to now, and he’s the best cat dad ever (they’ve definitely claimed him as their favorite). But through it all, we couldn’t stay apart. Every visit felt like home, no matter where we were — at camp, a truck cab, or the little 30x20 pavilion that somehow became the coziest place in the world once we were there together. Somewhere between the laughter, the late-night talks, and the countless drives, we realized this was it — the kind of love that feels like fate wrapped in a funny story. So, we decided to make it official. We’re getting married — and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you who’ve watched our wild, wonderful journey unfold.
