A Swan Boat Ride In The Boston Public Gardens
Make sure to visit Frosty's for some soft serve or Italian Ice. A Swan Boat ride in the Public Gardens is fun for all ages and a 10-15 minute walk from the Mandarin Oriental where the ceremony is taking place.
Newbury Street
Right outside the Mandarin is Newbury St., which is filled with shops and restaurants. J.P. Licks and Emack & Bolio's are two local ice cream shops for a cone while you stroll.
Mike's Pastry
For the best cannoli you'll ever have, a stop at Mike's Pastry is a must. Modern Pastry across the street also has fantastic lobster roll (and it's kosher!)
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
For a bit of culture, the Gardner museum is a fun way to spend an hour or two. If you want to go, recommend buying tickets in advance. It's about a 10-minute drive from Back Bay where the festivities will be held.
Myers+Chang
For Rachael's favourite Chinese food in Boston, and allergy friendly dishes, Myers + Chang is great for dim sum brunch and is only a 8-10 minute drive, or 25 minute walk from the Mandarin Oriental
