Marry Your Best Friend

We met online like lots of folks do these days in January 2018. The ironic thing is that is what it took for us to meet. We've lived in the same town for over 30 years! And we're less than 1 year apart in age. Rachael couldn't resist Andy's smile and chill personality. Andy is partial to blondes and was into Rachael's bubbly personality. We started noticing all the things we had in common while talking. Like our favorite ice cream; strawberry. We love the same kind of music; 311 and TOOL. Our favorite color is blue. We both have strong feelings about our faith and beliefs in strong morals. Andy was very persistent in asking Rachael for a date. We had made plans for a weekend. But Rachael decided not to wait. We kept it relaxed, chilling with Chinese food, Rachael's favorite on a Thursday night. Lots of laughs and chatting. Our first "real date" we had dinner at a local place in Sioux Falls, SD called The Attic that weekend, and Andy had shrimp finding out that Rachael is allergic and calls them sea spiders. That lead to many more dates and a connection that couldn't be denied. We decided to make it official as a couple in April 19, 2018. And moved in together in January 20, 2019. Andy became quick best friends with Rachael's dog Todd. Rachael likes to cook home made meals for Andy. He likes eating them, he says. Andy proposed on July 2nd 2019 at Terrace Park Sioux Falls, SD. And Rachael said yes. We're very excited to be on this journey together and feel blessed to have found love and a best friend.

Andy asked me out for a date. I couldn't wait to meet him and brought over Chinese food to his place and watched a movie. Andy being the gentleman he is, took me to dinner the following Saturday. I don't think we've been apart long since.
