Maid of Honor
Cherie and Rachael met freshman year of high school when they both liked the same boy. He tried to play them off each other, but they decided they liked each other better. In fact they liked each other so much, they both had their first baby on February 14, 2012. They are the yin to each other’s yang and often wear the same outfit without even consulting first. Lately they’ve been going to infused dinners and sound baths, trying to remember how to relax.
Maid of Honor
Melanie and Rachael met through the world of Roller Derby and have been derby wives since Christmas 2017. They have lived together, thrifted together, essentially developed a commune together, and are each other's comfort, no pressure friend. Melanie is the one who drove overnight with Rachael to pick Andrew and his stuff up from Baltimore a week after Rachael met him in person for the first time <3

Rachael became Alyssa’s stepmother when she was 3 and opted to keep her in the divorce. Alyssa almost broke Rachael’s arm on the Tower of Terror at Disney. She is the best big sister in the entire world, and is KILLING it at the University of Tennessee at Martin, both academically and as a member of the Skyhawks dance team.

Dana (Killer) and Rachael (Cactus) make up the formidable blocker team KillerCactus. They have been platonically in love since they stated roller derby on the same day in 2015 with the Vindicated Vixens. You can usually find them talking to each other in a southern accent for no particular reason, and calling each other “pretty lady”.
Bridesmaid
Kelsey and Rachael met playing against each other when the Vindicated Vixens still existed and Kelsey was playing for Illiana Roller Derby. Rachael “dead legged” Kelsey while she was jamming, and they’ve been friends ever since. They’ve become much closer in recent years, due to having much in common, and are considering learning to wrestle so they can be a tag team à la Chyna and Miss Kitty.
Bridesmaid
Ania and Rachael met through (surprise) roller derby and bonded during a four day long road trip to Las Vegas. Ania has heroically put up with Rachael’s crabby ass during several hikes in the American southwest and always stays positive in the face of Rachael’s mood swings.
Bridesmaid
Kristen and Rachael met through (you guessed it) roller derby, and are founding members of CKO’s Comic Book Crushers team. They are each other’s daughters’ “other mother” and take turns taking them on vacation. Rachael is Kristen’s “Hand of God” on the track, a reliable whip at the back of the pack during a jam.
Bridesmaid
You may be shocked to learn that Renee and Rachael met playing roller derby! Renee introduced Rachael and Andrew to Eurovision which has now become a part of their personalities. They love to watch weird wrestling shows together and heckling wrestlers at local shows together.
Bridesmaid
Jasmin and Rachael met the first day of freshman orientation of high school and were attached at the hip from then on, until Senior Year. The programming office separated them senior year because their teachers complained they talked too much. They once got the exact same GPA and were the exact same rank in their class of almost 1000. Their love of food has fueled their friendship ever since.
Bridesmaid
Get ready to have your mind blown. Johanna and Rachael met playing roller derby, and Johanna is probably the only Derby affiliated person who calls Rachael by her government name. The first time they hung out one on one was during a road trip to Austin, TX for Johanna to take part in a cake artistry contest. Luckily, they have A LOT in common, including a love for all things western. They refer to themselves as cow goths and buy cowboy boots in twos so they each have a pair.
