After 18 months of careful planning & rescheduling, complete with a lot of tears and wine, we decided to elope during the week our honeymoon was originally planned. With everything that happened this past year or two, we didn't want wait any longer to be married. We flew into Seattle the weekend before, and after spending a couple of days in the city (and eating allllll the clam chowder) we drove up to a remote AirBnB in Skykomish WA. We met up with our lovely photographer friends and had a great day playing in the snow in our formal wear before having some warm soup and exchanging vows. It was full of lots of love and we are so happy to have started married life. However - we are both SO EXCITED to PARTY with YOU!
Stephen & Rachael originally got to know each other via online messaging while Rachael was finishing up college and Stephen was serving in the Army. Stephen was looking for someone to chat with while he was deployed to Afghanistan in 2013, and Rachael was happy to oblige. While a connection quickly formed, a 13 hour time difference and twenty-something lifestyles got in the way, they lost touch shortly after. Five years later, Rachael sent a (now fateful) message to Stephen "hoping that life was good". Stephen immediately responded the next day and they quickly rekindled their connection. They have been in contact ever since. In February 2018 Stephen flew out to meet Rachael face to face for the very first time, and they officially started dating long distance. In late fall 2018, Rachael decided to take the plunge and move 3000 miles to sunny Tampa, Florida. Two houses, three pets and one marriage later, they are happily settled and forever grateful to the circumstances that brought them together.
Ella, five and Greyson seven, are our kids who we co-parent with. Ella is our resident animal lover, she's always happy to help feed the animals and is constantly on a quest for kitten snuggles. When you manage to get her out of the pool, you can usually find her drawing or painting since she is super artistic! Greyson is a fact fiend and loves to hear all the facts he can, especially if it's about bugs. He recently has been getting into video games and will challenge you to a game of Super Smash Bros anytime, anywhere.
