Historic downtown Stillwater offers charming shops, river views, and beautiful walking paths along the St. Croix. It’s the perfect place for a relaxed afternoon stroll.

Como Park Conservatory Gardens

1225 Estabrook Dr, Saint Paul, MN 55103

A beautiful, free conservatory and garden featuring exotic plants and seasonal displays. The park also includes a zoo, but can be especially busy on weekends.

A scenic 53-foot waterfall within Minnehaha Park, with beautiful walking trails along the creek and river.

Minneapolis Sculpture Garden

Minneapolis Sculpture Garden

725 Vineland Place, Minneapolis, MN 55403

A beautiful outdoor sculpture park in the heart of Minneapolis, home to iconic public art and skyline views. It’s especially meaningful to us because we got engaged here, right in front of the “big blue chicken,” as we lovingly call it.

Minneapolis Institute of Art

Minneapolis Institute of Art

2400 3rd Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55404

A beautiful and free art museum featuring works from around the world.

Mall of America

Mall of America

2131 Lindau Lane, Bloomington, MN 55425

One of the largest shopping and entertainment destinations in the country, featuring hundreds of stores, restaurants, and attractions.

SEA LIFE at Mall of America

SEA LIFE at Mall of America

120 East Broadway, East Side, Level One, Bloomington, MN 55425

We absolutely love the underwater tunnels here. Walking through while sharks and sea turtles glide overhead is such a cool experience. Be sure to book your tickets online/on your phone for a discount!

Minnesota Zoo

Minnesota Zoo

13000 Zoo Boulevard, Apple Valley, MN 55124

We’re Minnesota Zoo members, so this spot is close to our hearts. The animals live in large, natural outdoor habitats, and the elevated Treetop Trail offers a unique, peaceful way to explore from above. A great option if you love animals and being outside!
