Our love story began in late 2024 on the Arab community dating app, Baklava. After many nights spent on FaceTime calls, Omar traveled to visit Philadelphia and meet Racha in person. We spent a full weekend of exploring the city, visiting historic sites, enjoying a cheesesteak or two (Angelo's for the win!), and truly connecting together. After that trip, we decided to embark on a long distance relationship. Monthly trips to visit each other in Philadelphia and San Francisco came with challenges, but it allowed our love to grow into the strong bond that we share today. We continued traveling together across the country, where we explored new cities and new adventures, while building our relationship stronger. In November 2025, Omar proposed to Racha in Philadelphia's famous Rittenhouse Square Park and since then, we have been planning our forever. We are delighted to share our big day with our families and friends and can't wait to celebrate with you!
We recommend flying into San Francisco Airport (Airport code: SFO) as it's a 20 minute drive to downtown San Francisco. San Jose (SJC) and Oakland (OAK) airports are also options, though they are farther from San Francisco. For ground transportation, we recommend Uber, Lyft, and local taxis. We advise against renting a car as overnight parking fees in San Francisco can reach $90 per night.
We have a discounted room block at the Westin St. Francis, available from 10/23/2026 - 10/26/2026. Use the link under the Travel tab to book your room. You have the choice of staying at the Landmark Building (renovated rooms but lower view level of the city) or in the Tower Building (more traditional Westin rooms but with a higher view level of the city). All reservations using the room block discount link must be made no later than October 10th, 2026. If you are looking for other options, there are a number of other hotels and Airbnb properties in the area to accommodate your specific needs.
If you are staying in downtown San Francisco, our reserved shuttles will depart from the Westin St. Francis at exactly 1:30 PM. If you miss the shuttle departure time, you will need to arrange separate transportation (Uber or Lyft). The shuttles will also depart from the church back to the Westin St. Francis at 4:00 PM. The cocktail hour will start at 6:00 PM on the 32nd Floor, where we will catch the sunset at 6:24 PM.
If you are driving to the church, Holy Trinity has a large parking lot with ample free parking. Parking at the Westin St. Francis is valet-only. The rate is charged per hour at the rate of $12/hour. For those staying overnight, the rate is a flat $84/night. We recommend utilizing either the Westin's garage or one of the garages listed below. We also highly recommend downloading the SpotHero app and booking a local nearby garage if you don't mind a 2-4-minute walk for a much discounted rate. Please arrive to the church no later than 2:00PM for a 2:15PM service start time. We will begin the church service immediately, as we have a tight schedule and timeline. Cocktail hour starts at 6PM with the beautiful 360-View of the city and 6:24PM sunset.
Incredible! Which is the reason we booked this venue. We fell in love with this venue and our interest and love for rooftops and city exploring. We both felt something magical once the elevator doors opened on the 32nd floor and we instantly knew this was our venue. So please enjoy it as much as possible with us. The cocktail hour is from 6pm - 7:00PM so that we can catch the sunset at 6:24PM.
Yes! Open bar during the cocktail hour - grab your favorites - ours are whiskey based! Dinner service will have champagne, along with bottles of red and white Napa wines served table side. After dinner, it will be open bar again throughout the evening.
Light hors d'oeuvres will be served at the cocktail hour along with an open bar. Dinner service will start at about 8:00PM with a salad, and the option of seafood, steak, or chicken. A vegetarian option will also be offered.
Unfortunately due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate guests who are listed on the invitation.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. We kindly request no boxed gifts at the venue. If you feel inclined to give, a card would be sincerely appreciated, though your attendance is more than enough.
