Gabby & Joseph met on Hinge and the conversation sparked instantly when Joseph commented on Gabby's picture from her trip to Machu Picchu. After realizing they had a connection based on Peruvian ties, they continued talking about travel, hobbies, areas of studies and more. During these discussions, they also realized they both lived in Princeton, only a few blocks apart. Who knew!? About a week later, they had their first date -- a walk on the Princeton canal path. Since that day, they have gone on to enjoy many more dates and adventures together... and now their story continues as they prepare for their Wedding Day!

Joseph & Gabby took a trip down to Mount Airy, NC to visit his family over the July 4th weekend. What Gabby didn't know at the time was that Joseph had planned something else to celebrate. On July 4th morning, Joseph suggested the couple take a motorcycle ride up to the Blue Ridge Parkway just over the Virginia border. As they drove along the winding roads up the mountain, clouds began to form in the distance. Joseph decided to pull off on the side of the road to wait out the storm. While they were biding time under the Fancy Gap bridge, Joseph pointed out some graffiti on the bridge wall. It was an intertwined, cursive D & R -- just like Dixon and Raccosta. When Gabby jokingly said "Aw, look it's a sign!" Joseph decided to skip his original plan to take advantage of the romantic, spontaneous moment that had presented itself. Minutes later Joseph knelt down to ask the big question and Gabby said yes!
