Question

What is the attire for the wedding and reception?

Answer

Formal attire. We kindly request that men wear suits and women wear mid length or floor length dresses. We kindly ask that no white or white-adjacent dresses be worn.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 5 p.m. Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony to allow ample time to park and get seated. If you would like to show up early, please feel free to use the extra time to explore the Scarritt Bennett Center

Is there parking or transportation available?

Answer

While we do not have pre-arranged transportation, there is limited street and paid parking available at both our ceremony and reception venues. Disability-accessible parking is available to those who need it. Rideshare options are highly recommended for ease of transportation. We kindly ask you to arrange responsible transportation if you plan to drink at the reception.

Do I need to bring anything to the wedding?

Answer

Please make sure to bring your ID, which will be required by our venue to obtain adult beverages. Otherwise, just bring yourself - we can't wait to celebrate with you!

We have worked hard to account for our friends, family and their respective plus ones. If you have any questions or believe we may have made a mistake, please reach out to one of us.

Can we bring our kids to the ceremony?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we respectfully request no children at our wedding celebration.

Can we take our own photography?

Answer

We are thrilled to celebrate big day with all of. you, and kindly request guests to refrain from cell phone and personal camera use at our ceremony in order to be fully present. While we welcome any and all personal photography at our reception, we have hired a professional photographer and will gladly share photos with all of you after the wedding to share the event.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding and reception will take place indoors, and if the weather permits, we will have access to an outdoor space at our reception.

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our ceremony will be at Scarritt Bennett Center near Vanderbilt in Midtown, and our reception will be held at The Sloane in Germantown. For more information and maps to each location, please visit our Timeline page.

I have dietary restrictions. What should I do?

Answer

When you RSVP for the reception, there will be an option to let us know! Otherwise, reach out to us as soon as possible so we can coordinate with our caterers
