Mactan-Cebu International Airport
Mactan-Cebu International Airport is the main international airport serving metro Cebu and operates both domestic and international flights. The airport is about 15 minutes away from the Shangri-La Resort and Spa. Please note: for U.S., U.K., and Canadian citizens, there is no visa required for a stay not exceeding 30 days. You must hold a valid return ticket and a passport valid for a period of at least 6 months beyond the stay in the Philippines. For those with passports outside of the U.S., U.K., and Canada, please check the Philippine Embassy website to see if you qualify for a 30-day visa-free entry to the Philippines.

[Car Service] The Shangri-La Mactan Resort & Spa: The hotel can help with booking a private car service for airport transfers and general travel within metro Cebu. [Airport] Taxi - White: These are local white metered taxis that service Departing and Arriving passengers to and from the city or airport. They are located at the Terminal 1 Domestic Arrival and Terminal 2 International Link Bridge Arrival. We recommend using cash (Philippine Pesos) for payment. [Airport] Taxi - Yellow These are yellow metered taxis that service arriving passengers who are traveling to local destinations only. They are located at the Terminal 1 Domestic Arrival and Terminal 2 International Link Bridge Arrival (same as the white taxis). [Getting Around] Grab - Ride-Hailing App: The Grab app has a ride-hailing service, where you can book private cars instead of taxi cabs (similar to Lyft/Uber). There's also a Grab Taxi feature where you can book taxi services instead of a private car.
