On October 22nd 2016, Adam took me to the Mizzou homecoming game in Columbia Missouri. After the game, he brought me to McBaine Bur Oak. This majestic tree has survived 400 years of storms, droughts, and floods. We were out in an open field at night with this tree, gazing up the the stars. It was beautiful. This is where Adam told me that he loved me. It became a tradition to visit this tree every time we made a trip out to Columbia Missouri. On September 2nd 2018, Adam brought me to this tree and asked me if I will ever forget this place. I told him I would never forget this place since this is where he told me he loved me. At that moment, he got down on his knee and said "Well, I hope you never forget this either". I will never forget.
