Our Story

On a Tuesday night, April 17th, 2019, fate brought us together at The Wren—a bar in NYC where a simple hello sparked something we never saw coming.

And through lockdowns, takeout marathons, and countless city runs, we survived COVID together—stronger, closer, and with even more reasons to celebrate.

In 2021, Ra was accepted to Georgetown for her MBA, and without a second thought, Dan packed up and moved to D.C. with her—turning a new city into their next great adventure.

While Ra pursued her MBA in D.C., Dan spent some time in Miami, turning long distance into an opportunity to grow even closer—proving that no matter the miles, they were always on the same team.

In 2023, Ra graduated with her MBA, marking the end of one chapter and the exciting beginning of their next adventure together.

Adventure #1: We explored Japan—Tokyo’s energy, Hakone’s hot springs, Kyoto’s history, and Osaka’s food scene—falling in love with every bite and breathtaking view.

Adventure #2: We traveled to South Korea, where Dan met Ra’s family, explored her world, and cheered at the LG Twins’ home stadium in Seoul! (Fun fact: Ra is obsessed with this baseball team!)

Adventure #3: We wandered through the streets of Paris, indulging in pastries, soaking in the romance, and savoring every magical moment.

On March 16, 2024, at the summit of Palisades Tahoe, with the lake shimmering below, Dan got down on one knee—turning a perfect ski day into the start of forever.

Since the moment Dan proposed, Ra and Dan have been counting down their wedding day, wholeheartedly excited to celebrate the special moment with you.
