Note: Short sleeves will make it easier for the Mehndi artist to apply your design, but the only real fashion guideline for a Mehndi party is to wear comfortable clothes that don't mind getting a stain on (if applicable) If you are getting a one-line design on a single hand, that covers a third of your hand, this will take around 5-10 minutes.

It involves applying a paste made from turmeric, also known as "haldi," to the bride and groom, symbolizing purification, protection, and blessings for a prosperous married life.

Attire Color Suggestions: Multi colors (Shades of Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, Pink, Red, Gold, Silver) Raas-Garba and Dandiya Raas is characterized by circular movements and rhythmic clapping, typically performed around a central lamp or image of a goddess. The other traditional element of a Garba is Dandiya Raas which is a continuation of the circle dancing but with decorative sticks (called Dandiya) that are held in each hand for you to tap against your neighbors’ as you move through the formation.

Attire Color Suggestions: Any Color---other than Pure white, Pure Black, and Pure Red Baraat will begin at 7:00 AM The Baraat is the groom’s procession to the ceremony where he is joined by his family and friends as he makes his way to his bride. A mandap is made up of a roof that is being held up by four pillars which are said to symbolize the four parents that put much effort into raising the bride and groom. In the center of the mandap, which is often raised on a stage, are chairs for the bride, groom, priest, and parents which surround a small alter consisting of a fire and statues of Hindu gods.
