Rachel and Christian’s story began in the summer of 2017, when an internship led Rachel to Miami. The connection was obvious from their first date at Panther coffee, and led them to pursue a relationship that has spanned multiple cities and different career paths. While they both moved to Boston after college and lived there for a year (quite the coincidence, right?), medical school brought Rachel back to Ohio, where she studied at the University of Toledo. Christian got his law degree from Harvard in the interim, and began working in local government in South Florida. Time and distance could not diminish their love, and upon Rachel's graduation from medical school, they were ecstatic to learn Rachel earned a spot at the University of Miami’s Family Medicine program. Now in Coral Gables, Rachel and Christian have started to build a life together in earnest with their pup, Artie. They encourage one another to pursue their hobbies, health, faith, and career. They feel incredibly blessed to have met at all, and now to enjoy each other's company for the rest of their lives.
