If you are flying in, thank you for making the trek! Newark Airport is around 1.5 hours away from Monroe, but you'll avoid the NYC traffic. Rental cars are also cheaper in NJ than in NY. Of course, if you also want to bask in NYC glory while you're here, go ahead and book a flight into a NY airport!

If you'll be coming from NYC, there are three different ways to get here. 1) Drive: approximately 1 hour 2) Train: MTA train from Grand Central to Harriman, NY and then taxi over to Monroe 3) Bus: ShortLines bus leaves from Port Authority and stops at Monroe.
