We were put in the same K family our freshman orientation. I liked Ryan right away but he couldn't take a hint. Eight months later we saw each other in the cafeteria and we started talking. Ryan took me to watch him play basketball with some of his friends and they needed one more person for the teams to be even. I jumped in and started making threes and ever since then we've been together.

We were at Ryan's uncle's house to celebrate Christmas with his side of the family. The day after Christmas we were planning on leaving pretty early to go see my family. When I was getting ready that morning he told his family that he was gonna propose before we left. He told me that he had to show me the pool that his uncle was building in the back. He took me up the hill and just started talking to me and then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was the best moment of my life!
