We met September 22nd, 2023, at Top Golf. I thought he was so handsome and had beautiful eyes. The first thing Austin said to me was, "You are a reverse catfish, you look way better in person". If you know, you know. Austin is a fantastic golfer, and I have the worst hand-eye coordination ever. Austin taught me how to properly hold the golf club and how to position my feet. Once he felt like I had it down, he let me take my first swing. I drew the club back and smacked the ball first try, and it soared through the air. Austin cheered for me and gave me the biggest smile. I knew right then, I could 100% see myself going out on another date. Austin was such a gentleman the entire evening. He pulled out my chair, paid for my meal, and asked lots of great questions to get to know me. We stayed there for hours sharing stories back and forth, laughing, and making jokes until one of the workers told us we had to leave because it was so late. From that day forward we have been inseparable from spending holidays together, birthdays, family reunions, church events, and everything in between. Every day I prayed God would bless me with the opportunity to be his wife one day. God answered that prayer May 11th, 2024. Austin proposed at the Glen Rose State Park by the river with the most gorgeous view. It was just the two of us just how we wanted. We are so blessed to be able to serve one another for the rest of our lives. God has been a huge part of our journey and will continue to be forever.
