Answer

Cocktail- Formal- Timeless

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking garage directly behind The Palace. Preferred parking is available at the Scovill Street Parking Garage*. A handicap drop-off zone is located directly in front of the theater on East Main Street heading East. Parking Garage Address: 33 Scovill Street Waterbury, CT 06702 https://www.palacetheaterct.org/your-visit/directions-and-parking **BE ADVISED- We recently learned that there will be a salsa festival in downtown Waterbury near the wedding venue. Please look into alternative routes to the Palace Theater if you are driving to the ceremony in case this event interferes with routes to our wedding** We included a parking map in the gallery section of this website

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block at the Heritage Hotel in Southbury. If you're staying here- bring a bathing suit!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The names on your invite are those who are invited

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Not unless they were named on the invitation.

Question

Can I bring a baby?

Answer

The only crying baby should be John when he realizes he has to spend the rest of his life with a short red head

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place in the grand foyer at The Palace, followed by a cocktail hour within the venue while the wedding party takes photos. Dinner and dancing will follow soon after.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Duh ;) But keep it classy

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheel chair accessible?

Answer

Yes!

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. We have hired photographers and don't need anyone stretching out into the aisle with their iphone to take photos for facebook. We would appreciate avoiding this in our professional photos. But before and after the ceremony we encourage you to take as many photos as you like!

Question

Etiquette

Answer

Please no big announcements at our wedding. We are petty. If you do so, we will give birth on your birthday or die at your funeral.

For all the days along the way
