Once upon a time, a handsome CHamoru man sent a lovely Haole a message on Facebook Dating. She then paused her dating profile prior to reading it. After a few duds, she decided to give the dating service another chance. When she opened it back up she saw a message from the handsome CHamoru who had the best smile. So she messaged him back. They began talking via text on the service. Then moved to FB messenger. Then to actual texts. Then phone calls. Then FaceTime calls. Every day from that first day they talked. They hit it off immediately. Both had been previously married for (the same) 20+ years and had children. Although, hers was a young adult and his were in elementary school. They both have a love of our country, being outdoors, and family priorities. They were having a hard time getting their schedules to match up to actually spend time together in person. So one night at 10pm, they were both sitting at their respective homes, on a video call. She asked him to just come over. And he did. They talked all night until he had to go to work at 3am.
