King's Inn has a breakfast (the Waffle Spot) and dinner (the Amigo Spot) spot. There is a pool and hot tub. Lot 8 is across the King's Inn parking lot (1 minute walk).

The Atwood Hotel is a similar value to King's Inn. It has a bottle/beer shop and restaurant across the parking lot. There is a pool and hot tub. Lot 8 is directly behind the Atwood (less than 1 mintue walk from lobby).

We have never been here, but it seems to have great reviews and is very close to Lot 8 (10 minute walk).

The hotel options are super convenient because they are very close to Lot 8. We have used Airbnb in our past visits to San Diego. They're readily available. Public transport isn't the greatest and we relied on Uber or car rentals on past visits.
