COVID-19 update in FAQ!

We both lived on College Hill Freshman year at ECU and both were apparently hungry one September night so we ended up at Todd Dining Hall with our roommates for dinner. Our roommates already knew each other but we did not so they introduced us. We had dinner together with everyone until Felix and his roommates were ready to go back to the dorm. I (Katie) immediately knew that Felix was "the one" and somehow acquired his snapchat through friends. I asked him to play cards at his dorm a few nights after that with the other roommates and that's where our story started!

We went to San Diego as a graduation trip for the both of us in May 2019. We went to La Jolla Cove a few days into the trip to see the seals and hang out at the beach. Felix had been talking about a tree that looks just like the Lorax tree that was at La Jolla. He kept insisting that we go see the Lorax tree and said that he thought that I would love to see it since I'm a teacher and teachers love Dr. Seuss. I apparently almost ruined the engagement and told him that I wasn't that into Dr. Seuss. Right after I said this, he got down on one knee and popped the question!
