Question

When should I make hotel reservations?

Answer

We advise you make hotel reservations ASAP because they start to get busy during the warm summer season at Lake Havasu. We are not able to get room blocks for Havasu Springs because they don't have many rooms. If you are not able to get rooms at Havasu Springs, or you aren't a fan of their "vintage" room style, there are lots of hotels and vacation rentals in Lake Havasu City, which is a 30 minute drive to the venue.

Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space at the venue, we can only accommodate the people listed on your invitation and the RSVP section of this website.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Comfy-classy attire is recommended. The ceremony will be late afternoon and chances are it will be warm outside. Although we don't know exactly how the weather will be, we anticipate it to be in the mid-nineties or possibly up to 100 degrees during the ceremony. We will hope for cooler weather, but plan to dress for warm weather. We plan on having a short ceremony so we can get inside the A/C to dance and celebrate!

Question

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony is on a hill so there is a small walk up a slope with some loose-ish dirt. We don't recommend high heels unless you have someone sturdy to hold on to. :) We WOULD recommend Pashion convertible high heels for the ladies. They are high heels that have a removable heel, turning your shoe into a flat as you walk up the hill to the ceremony. When you get up there, you can just pop your heel back on! Use our code WGSARAHQUIROGA to get some $ off your convertible heels. (: https://pashionfootwear.com/ That code expires 4/2, so you'll have some time to get your discount after you see my cute convertible heels at the wedding!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Unless otherwise specified, we will be having an adult only party. We are hoping to give the parents a night off. :) This is also for safety reasons due to the nature of the ceremony location.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Havasu Springs Resort, where the ceremony and celebration will be located, has several hotel room options, as well as an RV park. We ask that you provide your own transportation to The Pointe (ceremony space). We will celebrate and have dinner afterwards in the Harbor Room, which is a short walking distance away from The Pointe. There will be golf cart rides available for anyone who has a hard time getting up to the ceremony space.

Question

Will there be drinks?!

Answer

Yes! There will be a bar with alcoholic drinks available. We will provide some drinks, but we will switch to a cash bar later on in the evening, so please bring cash or card. We will also have water, coffee, and lemonade available.
