Our Story

Jay and Skye met each other on a dating app in February of 2021. The first yes was to a date at Mi Familia (a special place to them now!) After a few magical months together, that May, Jay took Skye to her first Texas Rangers game where he asked her to be his girlfriend. Her second yes! When the end of May came Skye moved back to her hometown for her career and this is where Jay and her began their mid-distance relationship for a year. During the summer of '22, Jay and Skye decided that they wanted to move-in together in the city of Stephenville. Their love continued to grow strong, while enjoying apartment life, traveling, and making memories! In the month of April '23 Jay and Skye began to search for a home together. They were at their annual Ranger game when they got the call that they would be first time home owners! We moved in so quickly and on June 23, 2023 Jay popped the BIG question: "Will you marry me?" Skye's easiest yes!
