Here's a 2.8 mile hike to a hidden waterfall with a small swimming pool after traveling through the forest via Manana Trail.
If you're looking for a challenge, this hike consists of 1,048 stairs to the top of Koko Crater.
Our go-to beach if we are in town. It's at the end of the row of Waikiki beaches, so it's usually less crowded. It's also a great place for a picnic, including Kapiolani Park across the way.
At this resort, there are 4 lagoons. We recommend lagoon #4 for public access, and a parking lot with the most amount of parking.
A breezy beach on the east side of the island, which has the perfect waves to learn how to boogie board or just relax on finer sands.
The type of beach where you should plan to spend at least half of your day to make it worth it. Once you make it across the seemingly endless sands, find a spot to enjoy the views of the beach as well as the famous rock cliff where you'll find many people jumping off of into the blue waters below. Try to get here earlier in the day for better chances of finding parking in the lot, instead of along the road.

Our favorite beach of all beaches on the island. Although it is a longer drive as you are traveling as far west as you possibly can, we promise it is worth it. If you are able to stay a while, you'll see how it's one of the best places to enjoy the view of the ocean, the mountain ranges, and the best view of the sunset all at the same time.
