Easily Emily’s favorite bar for high end cocktails and a speakeasy feel in the St James Hotel. The bartender Lori is phenomenal and a family friend. Make sure to stop by here at least once for the ultimate best cocktails.

Kelly's Tap House Bar and Grill

Best views and easiest access for everyone staying near Old West Main St. Millions of beers on tap, great food, patios everywhere, and prime river views. This is frequently the most packed bar in Red Wing.

Staghead

Another top favorite of Emily’s. Food is great, especially for appetizers and craft beer is endless. Frequently have live performers on the weekend. Downtown Red Wing and steps away from the James Hotel.

Margo+Lola

If you are a fishing enthusiast this experience is for you. A fly fishing school in the prime of the Driftless region. All wild trout including browns and brooks. Instructors are phenomenal and the school is right next to one of the best vineyards for dining. Book on the website! Group rates are the best.

Red Wing Barrel House

Small (oldest in Minnesota) pub that has live music on the weekends. If you’re in the mood for a German hot dog, they have the best! A small but loud atmosphere steps away from the St James Hotel, approx 1 mile from Bush St hotels.
