Goin' green

It all started at a mutual friend's Game Night. I (Ebony) was dominating the Uno game as the undefeated champion, when Quinton, with a mischievous grin, hit me with a Draw 4 card. I was so close to calling Uno and sealing my victory! As you can imagine, I wasn’t thrilled, and my competitive, sassy side definitely came out. We spent the rest of the game trash-talking and joking with each other, but somehow, I still managed to win. As the night wrapped up, Quinton approached me at my car, still joking and teasing, but this time with a flirtatious charm. He asked for my phone number, and though I was still annoyed by that Draw 4, I couldn't help but smile at his humor. The smile he put on my face that night never faded. Who would've thought that a game of Uno, a little trash talk, and a lot of laughs would lead to us wanting to spend the rest of our lives together.
