Like most modern couples, Chris and Erika met on the internet. As soon as Erika saw Chris's photo, she turned to her best friend Char on their mini couch on a cold Marina night in SF and said, "I don't know what is going to happen with this guy, but I know something will." At that point, they had not exchanged a word, just vibes. "When you know you know" was in absolute full affect. It was only later that Erika found out that on that random Tuesday night, Christopher was at his friend Carlos's house, which was the only reason he was within Erika's vicinity to match. He was living in Walnut Creek at the time. Serendipity! In true pandemic form, they texted, facetimed, and Erika of course, double confirmed he was not a murderer. (Flash forward, he really wasn't!) After a few weeks, they went on their first pandemic date in SF. Chris brought a bottle of Erika's favorite tequila and they made margaritas on the Marina Green. Soon after, they went for none other than Erika's favorite food, meatballs, and had the best lunch/dinner ever. Following the meatballs, Erika proposed they meet up with her two best friends at a house party where Chris was met with a house full of wild hooligans which was wildly inappropriate for a first date but, in true Christopher fashion, he charmed the pants off of everyone. They drank, laughed, danced and were the last ones to leave the party. He fit in perfectly. It was the best first forever date. After that first date, Chris and Erika were inseparable. Fast forward (almost) four years later, they still have as much fun as the day they met, everyday. They could not be more in love and excited about the life they have built together with their sweet fur baby, Rookie. They truly are the three best friends that anyone could have and could not feel luckier to have found each other.
