Jake and Q met at small group and instantly connected. A devoted husband and father, Jake is also a car enthusiast, PC gamer, and exceptional problem solver. He and his wife, Eva, are Tori and Q’s closest friends—if they’re not at home, they’re probably at the Owens’! Beyond friendship, Jake has played a meaningful role in Q’s faith journey, serving as an incredible example of living with purpose.

Eva is a devoted wife and mother, a talented crafter, an incredible cook, and the best listener—perfect for Tori, who loves to yap! Q and Tori are beyond grateful to have Jake and Eva as lifelong friends to share life’s journey with.

Taylor is Q’s second oldest brother and has always been a source of inspiration. Growing up, he sparked Q’s fascination with the endless possibilities of electronics and helped shape him into the hard worker he is today. Taylor loves Chinese food, board games, and spending quality time with his brothers. Now that he’s officially in Texas to stay, the whole family couldn’t be happier!

Meghan is Q’s sister-in-law, married to Charles—but beyond family ties, she and Tori are an unstoppable duo! A superwoman mom to three wild and wonderful boys, Meghan is also the most nurturing person Tori has ever met. She’s always there when Tori needs her, and now, they can’t WAIT to officially be sisters!

Tyler Mauer

Tyler and Q have been friends since their freshman year of high school, bonding over their shared love of music. Both played trumpet in high school, and Tyler continues to play today—performing gigs, teaching, and inspiring others to pursue their passion for music. Their friendship grew even stronger through Midnight Voices (vocal jazz), and along with Anthony, they became brothers from another mother—spending countless weekends, after-school hours, and even family vacations together.

Kinsey and Tori met freshman year of college as suitemates, and although Tori transferred, the bond between Kinsey, Ashley, and Tori remained strong. Over time, Kinsey and Tori grew even closer, staying connected through their beloved "Waffle Wednesday" videos, which they send weekly, despite the physical distance between them.

Anthony and Q have been friends since freshman year of high school—no surprise there! Anthony played alto saxophone in high school and continues to play today, along with a variety of other instruments. The two also sang bass together in Midnight Voices (vocal jazz), which further strengthened their bond. Along with Tyler, Anthony is one of Q’s brothers from another mother, and they've spent countless after-school hours, weekends, and even family vacations together.

Vika and Tori met when she started dating Tori’s brother, Eddy, back when they were in high school. Over the years, they’ve enjoyed quality time together, especially bonding over doing their nails at home and sharing new colors. Vika is also the incredibly talented photographer behind the proposal and engagement photos you see throughout this website—her work truly captured the essence of these special moments!

Greg is Tori’s older brother and one of Q’s best friends. Whether they’re golfing at a nice course they’re greatly underqualified for or hitting their usual spot in the middle of nowhere, Greg and Q always have a great time together. Q sees Greg as a brother, and their bond has only grown stronger as they’ve shared similar interests throughout Q and Tori’s relationship.
