We're Getting Married!

We are so excited to share in this big day with all of our friends & family. We are so thankful for the Lord's faithfulness in our relationship. We pray that this day would glorify Him & that we would all have so much fun together!

Quinten surprised me by blindfolding me and taking me out to my Great Aunt's farm for a picnic. I thought that when he told me to be ready at 3 pm for whatever he had planned, it was just going to be part of my birthday gift. When we arrived and unblindfolded me, he had one of our favorite card games customized to make our own deck of cards. These cards are really intentional, deep, vulnerable questions. At this point, I still did not think anything was unusual or different. We took turns asking each other the questions and I personally could not stop crying because of the conversation. When we got through the deck of cards, Quinten said that there was one card missing for me to ask him. He "found" the missing card in his wallet. The card for me to read to him said, "why do you want to marry me?" Quinten proceeded to tell me all the reasons why he wanted to marry me, then stood me up from the picnic table and got down on one knee. I immediately started to ugly cry my eyes out. He had my brother Jack hiding behind a hay bail to get pictures of the whole thing. We then celebrated some with Jack before meeting our families back at my house! After we shared dinner with our families we went to my birthday party that had been previously planned. None of our friends knew that Quinten was going to propose so when we walked in, I flashed them my ring and everyone erupted with excitement! Truly this was the best surprise I have ever experienced and it will be hard to top this birthday gift!
