We are Jumping the Broom

It all started December 11, 2022 in Jamaica! Yes, not even a full 2 years have passed since we said hello for the 1st time. We’re both part of a travel group that takes trips around the world throughout the year and we just both happened to be on this trip to Jamaica at the same time. The 1st night in Negril we went off the resort to a local club in town. As we was loading up on the bus Michael was walking down the aisle and noticed Latasha sitting alone. He asked if it would be ok to sit next to her. She smiled and said, “Of course.” I can say the rest is history but there is such an amazing story that started that day. That was the 1st time they ever met each other. Now, looking at this couple I’m sure many questions come to mind or some may scratch their heads and wonder how. LOVE is how! Since day 1 it seems like we can’t get enough of each other. Trust, honesty, communication, and respect is always top priority for the both of us. The love is real! Within 3 weeks of leaving Jamaica Latasha was on a flight from Tennessee to California to see “Her Man”! She has always been the type who knows what she wants. By the way this relationship has grown and blossomed to what you see today, it was definitely the right choice! Two weeks after leaving California we spent her birthday together in Las Vegas. Then in April, just 4 months after meeting, Michael flew to Tennessee and asked Latasha’s father if he could marry his daughter. He gladly gave his blessing! We then flew away for his birthday together in Belize! Long distance relationships are not easy. We had many conversations about how it was really going to work and what did we really want to do with what we had going on. We both already loved each other so the only thing to do was to decide who was going to make the big move. On August 1st Latasha left her home, family, friends, and successful business in Clarksville Tennessee and moved to Sacramento California. That’s only 8 months of knowing each other. CRAZY!!!! On December 9, 2023 Michael proposed to Latasha at the same resort they met just 1 year prior in Jamaica! We can keep you reading for hours with all of our adventures and stories we have from places around the world within the first year of our relationship. But I guess you have to wait for the movie to come out. Or feel free to ask. We love telling the world that Real Love does exist.
