We are getting married!

It started with a friend request on Facebook because I thought Justin was having a party. Turns out, he wasn’t and that was that! Two years later, we were on the 57 bus when I said, “Hi Justin,” and he replied, “Hi!”After constantly seeing each other around Oakland, we had summer school together at Ohigh. The conversations were always brief until we exchanged numbers and found ourselves face timing and texting all day and night. We just clicked.

We planned a photo shoot at the Oakland Rose Garden. We were choosing poses when Justin said, “Let’s do a pose back to back.” As we were standing back to back and I was cracking all my jokes Justin began dropping to one knee and called my name. I turned around, surprised and exclaimed, “Really? Are you proposing to me? Yes!!” We were engaged.
