Our story began online over a decade ago in the fall of 2012. Both being fans of the TV show Survivor, we had found our way onto a website called Tengaged, which helped fans replicate the experience of our favorite reality shows in a simple interactive format. Through random chance, we joined the same game and began talking. Even though these conversations were only present through the text of the game, a spark was formed. The following 8 months consisted of constant communication and messages through text. Unfortunately, it eventually fizzled out due to a mixture of distance and a teenager's lack of commitment. Fast forward to the summer of 2022, Vanessa reached out to Quinn on a boring Wednesday to randomly check in. The spark from 10 years ago ignited once more, leading to 4 hour phone and video calls on a daily occurrence. A few months later, Quinn flew out from Nashville to Las Vegas and the meeting 10 years in the making finally occurred. From that first meeting, we knew it was the beginning of a beautiful love story. By December of that year, Vanessa was packing up and moving across the country. We both realized very quickly that this was our endgame. Then, on January of 2025 Quinn took Vanessa to a scenic overlook and asked her to marry him.
