FAQs

The Wedding Website of Mary Eisenberg and Quinn Karpiak
Question

Wait, you're already married??

Answer

We had a little party back in May with our immediate family - we signed some papers, ate some cake, it was a very fun day. But there are so many people we still want to celebrate with, and that's why you're invited to this shindig! There will be no new ceremony or new nuptials on our end, but you're welcome to show up and marry whomever you want.

Question

What are the lodging options?

Answer

There are tons of nearby hotels in Center City (Loews Hotel, Marriott Downtown) and Old City (Kimpton Hotel Monaco, Society Hill Hotel) that would fit most needs. AirBnB's are another great option if you'd like to stay in a more residential neighborhood like East Passyunk, Fishtown, or Fairmount. We suggest taking this opportunity to spend the weekend in Philadelphia. With nationally-acclaimed restaurants, historical sites, music venues, and shops, the city's a great place to visit and we're happy to provide specific recommendations for things to do and places to stay!

Question

What will be on the menu to eat and drink?

Answer

Food will be served from a buffet so people can eat whenever they want throughout the evening. Pizza, pasta, hoagies, and other bar classics will be on the menu. We're thrilled to host this at Love City because it's one of our favorite breweries in Philadelphia. In addition to their excellent beer, they'll have local wine, spirits, and cocktails. Their entire liquor selection comes from Pennsylvania suppliers - don't let that scare you, they're actually all very good. They also have plenty of NA beers and mocktails, if that's more your cup of tea. And, yes, it's an open bar.

Question

What does your dress code mean?

Answer

We named it "party casual/dressy casual," but really we just want people to look nice while still being comfortable. Wear what makes you feel good at a party. Jeans and a cute top, a nice sweater, a cocktail dress, whatever you feel best in.

Question

Do I have a plus one? Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Maybe! We've probably already informed you if you can do either of those, so if you're just reading this now to find out... then the answer is probably no. However, if you're still unsure whether we've communicated your situation, then please reach out and we'll clarify.

Question

Is the venue ADA accessible?

Answer

Yes! There is a ramp at the entrance, and the taproom is fully wheelchair accessible. There are large gender-neutral bathroom stalls, as well. In case you want to do any further research on Love City's facility, here is their website: lovecitybrewing.com
