Question

Will I Have to Walk?

Answer

Yes! Please put this into consideration when picking out shoes as well. To get to the area, the ground may be uneven, and there are about 16 stone steps down to the amphitheater. Thankfully, the trail is right off the parking lot, so it should be a small walk.

Question

Will the Wedding Ceremony be Covered?

Answer

No. Since it is outdoors and in a national park, we will not be able to have a covered area. The wedding will happen regardless of rain, snow, or shine!

Question

What is the Weather Like?

Answer

In September, it ranges from 57-69 degrees during the day, and drops to the 30s-40s at night. The weather in the mountains changes frequently, so be prepared for afternoon storms. There is a possibility of snow.

Question

What is the Easiest Way to get Into the Park?

Answer

There will be a total of 10 cars allowed for the wedding party, so plan accordingly for this. You will be required to pay for the permit to enter the park, but you WILL NOT have to apply for a timed entry. The easiest way to get into the park will be through the Beaver Meadows entrance.

Question

What Should I Wear?

Answer

Dressy Casual! Women: This means flowy maxi dresses, tea-length dresses, dressy skirts and blouses, or dress pants and blouses. Men: tailored trousers, button-down, collared shirt, blazer or sport coat is optional, chinos.

Question

Are There any Colors You'd Prefer me to Wear?

Answer

It is preferred, but not necessary! The colors can be found on the website. The color scheme for the wedding is "olive green and burgundy". This consists of merlot, deep burgundy, forest green, sage green, terracotta, plum, and olive green. We just ask that no one wear white or dark brown. If you have any questions about specifics, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Question

Where can we Find the Wedding Registry?

Answer

The wedding registry is attached to this website. Since this is a destination wedding, we do not expect any gifts, but any will be greatly appreciated. If you feel more comfortable with using a check or cash, that also works!

Question

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! Since the wedding is earlier in the day and we plan on having dinner, there will be a gap between the two events. Jaeden and I plan on taking wedding pictures within the park after family photos. Family pictures should end around 12:30 p.m., and dinner will start at 5:30 p.m.
