The airport is located in Kalispell, MT only 15 minutes from downtown Whitefish. Its super easy to get to and from and there are multiple car rental services at the airport & ubers/shuttles.

Places to Stay
We recommend booking a place to stay on Airbnb or VRBO as there are a ton of great options in downtown Whitefish. If you prefer a hotel or bed and breakfast there are quite a few options as well and I've added a few below that we know are solid. Everything you need is basically within 5 mins once you're in town. We have a Safeway and Super1 for groceries as well as a few local markets in town. Plenty of restraunts and shopping as well. The Whitefish Lake is right in town and gorgeous this time of year with a nice lake beach if you can score a spot over there.
