What does "tropical chic" attire mean?

However that resonates with you is exactly what we’re going for! Just keep in mind we’ll be in the Caribbean, so it may be warm. The venue is outdoors and tucked into the rainforest (which we absolutely love), so think breathable fabrics. There are a few grassy areas you may walk through, so maybe reconsider stilettos… unless you’re feeling adventurous.

How will we get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

We’ll be setting up a shuttle schedule to transport groups of guests. One pickup location will be Hacienda Margarita, and the other will be in La Pared, Luquillo (near the Airbnb list and local hotel). We’ll share more specific timing and details as we get closer to the big day — we promise you won’t be left wandering the island.

Kids... Are they invited?

Answer

Kids are absolutely welcome at all the events! That said, we also fully support parents having as much fun as possible, so if that means the kids stay back, we completely understand. We don't judge. And if they do come and end up falling asleep halfway through the party, a couple of chairs pushed together works great.

Did you guys spell August wrong on the save the dates?

Answer

Yes. I (Daniela) did. But Quinn proofread it and didn’t catch it, so he is equally (if not more) responsible. I don’t make the rules. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Should I rent a car?

Answer

Not required, but it can definitely be helpful if you’re planning to explore the island or extend your stay. There will be shuttle service from Luquillo to the venue, and if you stay in that area, you’ll be right on the beach with plenty of restaurants and cafés within walking distance. If you’re staying elsewhere, having a car may make getting around easier. Ubers do exist, but Luquillo is a smaller surf town, so availability can be hit or miss.
