Kansas City Fun Tours
KC Fun Tours is an amazing tour service that offers tours of Kansas City to learn about its layout and rich history. They offer standard tours, comedy tours, and haunted tours. Jay and Quinlin learned so much about their city on one of the historic tours and it comes highly recommended! All of the tours start at Union Station. Tours run 7 days a week. Tour times are at 10 AM, 12 PM, and 2 PM. Adults are $20 Seniors (60+) military are $18 Kids (12 and under) are $10. You can reserve tour tickets on their website. Click VIEW below.
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
Kansas City's best museum! They have both touring and permanent exhibits. Jay and Quinlin picnicked on the museum's lawn on their proposal day, but it was too busy for him to propose. Union Station Kansas City
Union Station is not only a gorgeous and historical building in Kansas City, but it also has some fun things to do! Attractions range from fine dining and local theatre to kid-friendly museums. National WWI Museum and Memorial
This is THE ONLY WWI Memorial in America! At the top of the hill, at the base of the memorial, you can catch an amazing view of Kansas City! If the weather is nice, spend some time walking around the area and enjoying the view! There is a WWI museum inside the memorial. Open Tuesday - Sunday 10-5 Adults $18 Seniors (65+) $14 Youth (6-18) $10 Children under 6 are free
Crown Center
Crown Center is the perfect place for indoor shopping and dining. It's owned by Hallmark, which was founded in Kansas City. It has both familiar and local restaurants and shops. Take the kids (both small and big!) to Fritz's to get your food brought to you on trains! Crown Center Plaza has TONS of fun family activities like LEGOLAND, Sea Life Aquarium, Kaleidoscope, and an ice skating rink.
City Market
This is one of Quinlin and Jabari's favorite places to get local wine, produce, and a variety of absolutely delicious authentic cuisine. The Farmer's Market is open every Saturday and Sunday, year-round. Vendors set up at about 7 AM and leave about 1:30 PM. The restaurants and shops around the City Market are open daily. Take the street car!
Jacob L. Loose Memorial Park
This is a large, gorgeous park where Jabari proposed! If the weather is nice, take a stroll through the park.
The Roasterie Café
Quinlin LOVES her coffee! This local roasterie offers tours and tastings! Tours run: MONDAY - FRIDAY 10:00 AM, 12:30 PM SATURDAY 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:00 PM, 2:30 PM SUNDAY 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM Cost is $5 and tours last 45 minutes with a tasting at the end.
Boulevard Brewing Company
Jabari's absolute favorite beer! This local brewery is KC's best. They offer tours and have a tasting room. It's a must-see! Click VIEW below to get more information on the types of tours, times, and prices. Mon-Thurs 1pm - 9pm Fri-Sat 11am - 9pm Sun 11am - 6pm
Blvd Tavern
This is where Dan and Sharon O'Donnell met Jabari for the first time! It's a local spot with great food! Wednesday-Friday 11a-9p Saturday-Sunday Dinner 2p-9p Saturday & Sunday Brunch 10a-2p
The Phoenix
This is on Jabari and Quinlin's top 5 favorites list. They have great drinks, awesome food, and live music! Located in The Garment District near Quality Hill. The Granfalloon Restaurant And Bar
Located on The Plaza, this is one of our favorite bar/restaurants and was loved by Whissette and Slim during their visit to KC. While you're there, take some time to look around The Plaza to enjoy the unique architecture or do some shopping. Open daily 11-2:30 AM
LC's Bar-B-Q
THE BEST BBQ in town! Our favorite spot, hands down! Located about 15 minutes out of the city. WORTH THE DRIVE AND WAIT! Open daily 11 AM to 9 PM.
Bar K
We love to take Layla here! This is a one-stop place for dog lovers! Grab a drink from their full bar, order some food from their full menu, and play with dogs! Enjoy their tented patio area that is heated in the winter.
Q39 - Midtown
Located in the popular Westport district, this restaurant is another popular spot for Kansas City BBQ. While LC's is a mom and pop BBQ joint, this spot serves ribs and burnt ends with a side of fine dining. Make a reservation! Open 11 AM to 9 PM daily
Arthur Bryant's Barbeque
Though this is not a top favorite of the bride and groom, it is an extremely popular BBQ restaurant in Kansas City. It's been visited by multiple U.S. Presidents, including President Obama. Monday-Saturday 10AM–9PM Sunday 11AM-8PM
Brewery Emperial
We absolutely love this year-round bar!! It has romantic indoor seating and rustic outdoor seating. In the cold months, enjoy the fire bits and heaters outside in the picnic table seating area. They make their own delicious beers and specialize in IPAs. Their menu DOES NOT disappoint! Try the rabbit!
BRGR Kitchen + Bar
This is where Quinlin and Jabari went after they attended the only football game they've ever been to together, Chiefs vs. Raiders (Chiefs won!). Though it's not a local restaurant, the burgers ae absolutely incredible!!! Tuesday - Thursday 11:30am - 8pm Friday & Saturday 11:30am - 8:30pm Happy Hour: 4 – 6 pm
Parlor
A favorite place of the couple for a nice date night out, this place offers an eclectic mixture of foods in a cafeteria-style way. This two-story building is packed full of character, charm, and ambiance. The outdoor patio is heated in the winter and is a perfect place to get a view of the city while enjoying the full bar.
Brick House KC
Jabari and Quinlin love to go here for both brunch and night drinks. It's a local spot with delicious food! It's conveniently located on Martini Corner near three other bars. Right in the middle of the Westport district, this bar is a go-to for the bride and groom. It has a fun atmosphere and tasty food! Green Lady Lounge
This is the couple's favorite jazz bar and where they spent their first three nights together talking the night away. It's located near some other fun bars near the Crossroads district and is very close to The Guild!
Howl at the Moon Kansas City

The Blue Room
In the historic 18th and Vine District of Kansas City, this famous jazz bar has tons of history behind it and incredible live jazz. It's attached to the Negro League Baseball Museum. The Blue Line
This is one of the bride and groom's favorite bars. Neither one is a hockey fan, but this laid back sports bar has great drinks at good prices. Get the wings! Located in River Market. Open daily 11AM - 3AM
