KC Fun Tours is an amazing tour service that offers tours of Kansas City to learn about its layout and rich history. They offer standard tours, comedy tours, and haunted tours. Jay and Quinlin learned so much about their city on one of the historic tours and it comes highly recommended! All of the tours start at Union Station. Tours run 7 days a week. Kansas City's best museum! They have both touring and permanent exhibits. Jay and Quinlin picnicked on the museum's lawn on their proposal day, but it was too busy for him to propose. Union Station is not only a gorgeous and historical building in Kansas City, but it also has some fun things to do! Attractions range from fine dining and local theatre to kid-friendly museums. This is THE ONLY WWI Memorial in America! At the top of the hill, at the base of the memorial, you can catch an amazing view of Kansas City! If the weather is nice, spend some time walking around the area and enjoying the view! There is a WWI museum inside the memorial. Crown Center is the perfect place for indoor shopping and dining. It's owned by Hallmark, which was founded in Kansas City. It has both familiar and local restaurants and shops. Take the kids (both small and big!) to Fritz's to get your food brought to you on trains! Crown Center Plaza has TONS of fun family activities like LEGOLAND, Sea Life Aquarium, Kaleidoscope, and an ice skating rink.
This is one of Quinlin and Jabari's favorite places to get local wine, produce, and a variety of absolutely delicious authentic cuisine. The Farmer's Market is open every Saturday and Sunday, year-round. Vendors set up at about 7 AM and leave about 1:30 PM. The restaurants and shops around the City Market are open daily. Take the street car!
Quinlin LOVES her coffee! This local roasterie offers tours and tastings! Tours run: MONDAY - FRIDAY 10:00 AM, 12:30 PM SATURDAY 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:00 PM, 2:30 PM SUNDAY 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM Cost is $5 and tours last 45 minutes with a tasting at the end.

We absolutely love this year-round bar!! It has romantic indoor seating and rustic outdoor seating. In the cold months, enjoy the fire bits and heaters outside in the picnic table seating area. They make their own delicious beers and specialize in IPAs. Their menu DOES NOT disappoint! Try the rabbit!

A favorite place of the couple for a nice date night out, this place offers an eclectic mixture of foods in a cafeteria-style way. This two-story building is packed full of character, charm, and ambiance. The outdoor patio is heated in the winter and is a perfect place to get a view of the city while enjoying the full bar.
