Things To Do in Omaha

We are so excited to share our favorite places in Omaha with you!

Old Market Farmers Market

519 South 11th Street, Omaha, NE 68102
, (402) 345-5401

If you are arriving Friday evening then the Farmers Market is a perfect way to spend your time on Saturday morning before the wedding! It is just a short one block walk from the Embassy Suites. You can peruse local vendors, fruit, veggies, flowers, bakeries and more! It is a perfect way to spend 20 minutes to several hours! Quinlan has grown up attending the farmers market with her grandparents, so you can take some time to come to know more about her through this activity as well!

Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium

3701 South 10th Street, Omaha, NE 68107
, (402) 733-8400

Omaha's best bragging right. We boast the best zoo in the world (literally) and it is quite a treat! You can spend a day here! Just don't forget to come to the wedding!

Durham Museum

801 South 10th Street, Omaha, NE 68108
, (402) 444-5071

Lovingly called the "Train Museum" by the Keller family. Come and explore how Omaha became the gateway to the West as Union Pacific Railroad graced Omaha. This is a fun place to spend an hour to an afternoon!

Omaha Children's Museum

500 South 20th Street, Omaha, NE 68102
, (402) 342-6164

This is a perfect place for the youngsters in the group. A five minute drive from Embassy Suites, this is a perfect way to spend a morning or afternoon with those who are young in body and young at heart!

Lauritzen Gardens/Kenefick Park

100 Bancroft Street, Omaha, NE 68108
, (402) 346-4002

Close to the Henry Doorly Zoo, this is a beautiful place to spend some time. It boasts Rose to traditional Chinese Zen gardens! You can mozy along the beautiful roads, but be careful not to get lost.

The Old Market

Omaha, NE 68102

This is one of our favorite date locations. The Old Market has loads of restaurants and shops to explore. It has a fun child friendly and party friendly atmosphere. You can find pretty much everything you would be hoping to find on a Friday night in the Old Market.

For all the days along the way
