Our Story
Please enjoy these very cute photos of us and the special people in our lives!
EP: We met at the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities at Michigan State University in 2014 - we each remember being instantly impressed by the other's fashion sense!
EQ: We became fast friends and stayed close all through college -and we have spent every Halloween together since!
EP: Emily and our friend Nat visited my hometown of Ann Arbor, and I learned that the Quinlan's lived there when Emily was young! We even went to the same church for a time!
EQ: In 2019, Erin and I moved in with our friend Levi to a house on the Lansing's Eastside. It was our 3rd time as roommates and 3 was the charm - we grew even closer and became "official" 9/27/2019!
EP: During COVID, we got into Drag Queens, crafts, and gardening together.
EQ: These pics are from a drag show we went to in Detroit with my mate of honor, Nat!
EP: We re-introduced ourselves to each other's families. This picture is from a visit to Manchester to see my Grandma O'Sullivan!
EQ: I spent my first Christmas with the Paskus family in 2020!
EP: Becoming official right before COVID meant we had to get creative about meeting one another's families. Here we are in the Quinlan's backyard celebrating Katie's (Emily's sister) birthday!
EQ: And Erin came on their first Quinlan family trip up north - a Smokey the Bear selfie is a must!
EP: I was hesitant about living with Emily's cat (all that fur!) But once we moved into our current place, I fell in love with Emily (not pictured) - and Edward (pictured here)!
EQ: This is the first Christmas Erin and I spent together! Not pictured- our cat Edward in his matching Christmas pajamas.
EP: Our friend group from college is still very close and they're now our wedding party! A few years ago, we did a Twilight themed photo shoot. Emily is Alice, and I'm Jasper.
EQ: Erin can always make me smile!
EP: And my favorite place to be is in Emily's arms. <3
EQ: Erin and I planned a joint proposal at the Meijer Gardens in December 2022. But an unexpected emergency derailed our plans. So instead, I proposed that night at dinner with the Paskus's!
EP: And I proposed in the Quinlan's driveway!
EP: Here we are at the future site of our wedding, the English Inn. We still love each other's fashion sense. (Don't we look great together?) We can't wait to see you all there and celebrate with you!
