We first met in the spring of 2020, when I was working at a vet clinic and Shawn brought in his dogs for surgery. At the time, I never could’ve guessed that moment would lead us here — but a few months later, fate had other plans. About six months after that first meeting, our paths crossed again, and on August 10th, 2020, we went on our very first date. Since that day, we’ve pretty much been inseparable. Over the last five years, we’ve grown through life’s highs and lows — celebrating the wins, holding each other through the losses, and learning what real partnership truly means. There’s no one else I could ever imagine by my side for this journey. Our favorite days are simple ones — spending Sundays in the fall watching football (Go Cowboys!!!), fostering kittens through our local shelter, and hanging out with our two dogs, Bella and Koda, and our cats, Evie and Millie. When we’re not wrangling pets, you can usually find us at a card show, collecting football autographs or meeting players. We’re so excited to be stepping into this next chapter together and beyond thankful to have our friends and family beside us as we say “I do.”
