Bride’s Version We met at Miles College in the education office. Him and I had a playful argument over a piece of barbeque chicken. That same day we exchanged phone numbers, but never really put them to use. Then on November 27th, 2016, I received news that my brother had passed. My auntie had informed him about the passing of my brother and told him to check on me. November 28th, 2016, he texted me and told me that he was coming to see me and I didn't believe him. However, he showed up and he has been apart of my life every since. Groom’s Version It all started at the Historical Miles College in the Division of Education office. My play auntie texted me to come to the office for lunch. Now, as a college student, food, especially a home cooked meal, is your best friend. So, once I got there I saw my future wife with my third barbecued chicken leg; a humorous argument happened and numbers where exchanged. After that, we texted on and off but we both were in a situation as I would call it. The next thing I knew, my play aunt saw me at school and asked have I talked to Quise and I stated not really. She then went on to tell me that I need to try and reach out to her, because she lost her brother over the weekend. I literally went back to class texted her and left the building to check on her. Ever since that day, we became, to me God’s Greatest gift to a relationship which was true friendship. From that day on, we became one in a friendship; learning each other, talking about future goals, both long and short term, and just having each other’s back with true sincerity. After that, I just knew I didn’t just want her as a friend, but I wanted her to be my partner for the rest of my life and that’s what brought us here today…. ***Side Note: I really want to thank Ms. Monique Camp for cooking lunch, and Mrs. Carolyn Jordan for telling me to come and get lunch. If it weren’t for you two, I wouldn’t even know my God Sent Gift..
