What is the dress code?

Formal attire is requested. Suits and ties for men, and long dresses for women. It’s summer, don’t shy away from fun colors!

To ensure we can accommodate all our guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

How do I get to the UVA Chapel?

Answer

There are three options: 1) It’s a 12 minute walk from the Omni. Depending on the weather, this could be refreshing or sweat-inducing, so choose wisely! 2) The Charlottesville Free trolley is offered from just outside of the Omni on Water St (in the downtown mall) to the UVA Chapel. Be sure to check the trolley schedule and allow ample time (https://catpublic.etaspot.net) 3) Paid parking is available at the Central Grounds Garage at the UVA Bookstore (6 minute walk to UVA Chapel) or the Culbreth Garage (8 minute walk to UVA Chapel)

Where can I park for the reception?

Answer

Free parking will be provided for all wedding guests at the Omni Charlottesville Hotel. If you choose to stay at the Omni, your room key card will be your parking ticket. If you do not stay at the Omni, another form of parking voucher will be provided.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance, and we will work with our catering team to ensure your dinner meets your needs!
