We met on a whim, he was my spades partner at my bday party years before we started dating. Then one day Latorie (Nieasha) said cousin I want you to meet somebody just see if you like him. So we started linking up everyday in the summer of 2018… and everyday my love for him grew. I’m guessing he felt the same because we were inseparable, I mean like joined at the hip, from that day forward. My mom died a month after we started dating he was there, i got real sick ended up in the hospital he was there, Chief turned 1, Na’veh graduated we were still together. Now here we are together.

On the anniversary of when we first met, we went back to our old stomping grounds to do karaoke with friends. When "I'd Do Anything for Love" came on, we ran up to the front. When the music suddenly died down, I looked over and he was down on one knee. I screamed, shouted "YES," and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
