Just as most modern relationships start, all it took was two swipes right! We met as 19 year olds and spent the majority of our new relationship on the University of Minnesota Campus. We went through the awkwardness of roommates, multiple degrees, a cross country move (twice), a handful of new jobs, a new business, and buying a house. After all that, we decided it was time to take the next big step... INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL!!! Just kidding... sort of On the family trip to Ireland and Scotland, Spencer decided to give an amazing memory to a bucket list location - he proposed at Loch Lomond. Yes, it was a surprise, but not in the way you think! The entire group had been hit with COVID and both of us had been sick the day before... like, really sick. On top of that, we had been mentally prepping for the proposal to happen the next day when we rode the Hogwarts Express. Looking back, we wouldn't have our proposal story any other way. We will be celebrating 10 years together on January 7, 2026 before establishing a brand new anniversary on February 7th. "Even after all this time?" - Albus Dumbledore "Always." - Severus Snape
