We met in an unusual way: not in high school, a dating app or even through friends. We met working at Folklore Haunted house, where I was a makeup artist and Quentin was an actor. Quentin says he "fell in like" when he saw me all dressed up to scare. I was trying not to have a panic attack when I walked into the room, where my mom and him were stationed. I payed no attention to him, instead all my attention was getting out of where I was located : the catacombs. After a few weeks of working, I started noticing a sense of jealousy with other girls being around him but, I didn't even know his name. I've never talked to him to get to know him. It wasn't until he was sitting in my make-up chair and I told him to open his eyes that I knew... he scared me. His eyes changed from emerald green to deep ocean blue, and I felt like I was hit by a lightning bolt. I knew he'd be important, but didn't know in what way. A week later I was going through a lot at school. I was done. I couldn't go on anymore. Then I got a Facebook message and another and another from the one and only Quentin Wynn. "Who is Quentin Wynn?" I thought. Turns out MY MOM and Quentin had talked at the haunt about me. ME. He was asking questions about ME? Again I didn't even know his name, let alone that Tena (friends with my mom at the time) was HIS MOM. 0.0 Who would have thought? Not me. A week went by of us texting all day every day. Then it was finally the weekend: haunt time. I avoided talking to him in person like he was the plague. I wasn't a very talkative person due to trauma from past relationships. Sunday night was over in a blink of an eye. Mom and I were relaxing in the living room when I got asked a question "Would you be my girlfriend?" uhhh yes... but I have to ask my mom first.
