Quentin was born and raised in the charming town of Pendleton, Indiana, as the beloved son of Heather and Vincent Miller, and brother to Taylor and Trent. After graduating from Pendleton Heights High School in 2015, he pursued his passion for baseball at Butler University, where he also earned his bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, and Society. Upon completing his studies, Quentin joined the United States Army, serving as a combat engineer for three years in Hawaii. His dedication and hard work led him to achieve the rank of sergeant. In 2022, Quentin returned to Indiana to pursue a career in the fire service. In 2024, he was hired by the Westfield Fire Department and successfully graduated from the 19-week North Side Fire Academy in July. Now a probationary firefighter, Quentin is committed to serving his community and finds deep meaning in his work.
Madison was born in Kansas City, Kansas, but Indiana has always been her true home. She is the daughter of Todd and LeAnne Heiniger and the twin sister of Allison. After graduating from Pendleton Heights High School in 2019, Madison began her college journey at Butler University before transferring to Ball State University to study social work. In 2023, Madison graduated with a bachelor's degree in Social Work and was accepted into Indiana University’s accelerated master's program in Social Work. She completed the program within a year, focusing on mental health and addictions. Madison now works as a therapist, helping individuals struggling with eating disorders and mental health issues. Her passion for this work is deeply personal, driven by her own experiences with depression.
Our story began in the fall of 2022, when we connected through a dating website. Although we drifted apart as Quentin adjusted to life after the Army and Madison focused on her senior year at Ball State, fate brought us back together in early January. We went on our first date in February at a classic Pendleton restaurant, Hacienda Vieja, and it was then that we discovered the incredible irony—we had both grown up in the same town and lived less than a mile apart, yet had never met before! Quentin asked Madison to be his girlfriend on his birthday, and after a wonderful year of dating, he proposed on April 27th at the beautiful Newfield Gardens. In our free time, we love traveling to new places, hiking, spending time with our friends and family, building Legos, and attending church. We are truly grateful that God brought us together, and we can't wait to share our special day with you!
