Our first date was at Wicked Butcher in downtown Fort Worth, an unforgettable night filled with laughter, long conversations, and a walk through the city that felt like the beginning of something truly special. Two months later, during a Candlelight concert honoring Vivaldi at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, I asked her to be my girlfriend. From that moment on, our love, admiration, and respect only grew stronger. We aligned our dreams, values, and goals, traveled, created beautiful memories, and faced challenges that, by God’s grace, only made us stronger. Eleven months later, in that very same place, on a sunlit morning in the heart of the most beautiful garden in Fort Worth, we got engaged.
