Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Sarah Queen and Trey Jones
We are so excited to share some of our favorite places with you. If you know us, you won't be surprised that most of these are food related. But we also included some of the best places to visit if you have never been to Atlanta before. We hope you can spend some time enjoying our favorite places while in town celebrating our wedding. Most places we highlighted are either very close to where we live or near our wedding venue.
no. 246

no. 246

129 East Ponce de Leon Avenue, Decatur, GA 30030
, 678-399-8246

No. 246 is one of our favorite restaurants. They do classic Italian dishes and have a wonderful brunch.

Poco Loco Neighborhood Provisions

Poco Loco Neighborhood Provisions

2233 College Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30317

Looking for a quick, satisfying breakfast? Poco Loco does some of the best breakfast burritos around and other breakfast treats like cinnamon rolls and a breakfast chimichanga. Poco Loco is located just 5 minutes from the wedding venue if you are staying nearby.

Le Petit Marche

Le Petit Marche

1984 Hosea L Williams Drive Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30317
, 404-371-9888

Wonderful breakfast items including some of the best breakfast sandwiches. They take reservations which is always a win for breakfast or brunch in this city!

Atlanta Botanical Garden

Atlanta Botanical Garden

1345 Piedmont Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30309
, 404-876-6859

Atlanta is in full bloom in March as we are blessed with an early spring. The Atlanta Botanical Gardens is a great place to enjoy special exhibits and the amazing flowers that bloom in the region.

The Iberian Pig

The Iberian Pig

121 Sycamore Street, Decatur, GA 30030
, 404-371-8800

Spanish tapas restaurant where we celebrated our engagement. All of the tapas and the paella are delicious.

Butter & Cream

Butter & Cream

416 Church Street, Decatur, GA 30030
, 404-378-7272

Our favorite, small batch ice cream store. Try and save room at some of our favorite Decatur restaurants and grab a seasonal flavor.

Georgia Aquarium

Georgia Aquarium

225 Baker Street Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30313
, 404-518-4000

If you have never been to Atlanta, a trip to the Georgia Aquarium is a must. It is the largest aquarium in the United States (and was the largest in the world when it opened in 2005!). The aquarium is accessible via public transportation, MARTA, and a great option for visiting without a car.

BeetleCat

BeetleCat

299 North Highland Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30307
, 678-732-0360

Great location with wonderful patio. BeetleCat is known for fantastic seafood but their doughnut brunch served every weekend is what has us going back.

Zoo Atlanta

Zoo Atlanta

800 Cherokee Avenue Southeast, Atlanta, GA 30315
, 404-624-5600

We have enjoyed many special events at Zoo Atlanta like Brew at the Zoo and Sippin' Safari but going during the day is such a great time!

Bomb Biscuit Atlanta

Bomb Biscuit Atlanta

668 North Highland Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30312
, 678-949-9439

Right along the Beltline, less than 2 miles from either hotel block, Bomb Biscuit is one of the tastiest breakfast spots in the city. Make sure to make a reservation in advance to enjoy specials like bonuts (biscuit doughnuts) and lemon pepper chicken biscuits (a true Atlanta original).

Ponce City Market

Ponce City Market

675 Ponce De Leon Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30308

Ponce City Market is on every Atlanta tourism list for good reason. It has tons of shops, bars, and restaurants and is along the Atlanta Beltline. Be prepared for tons of people if going on a weekend but the stop is definitely worth it. A short trip from either hotel block, PCM is worth a stop.

Atlanta Beltline

Atlanta Beltline

1141 North Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30307

The Atlanta Beltline is a 22 mile loop around the city connecting 45 different neighborhoods. The Beltline is a great way to explore some of Atlanta's great attractions and food including Ponce City Market, Krog Street Market, Piedmont Park, and the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.

Krog Street Market

Krog Street Market

99 Krog Street Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30307

Another food hall along the Atlanta Beltline, Krog Street Market has some truly wonderful independent restaurants. We recommend starting at Pour Taproom, a self-serve beer hall, and then trying Gu's Dumplings, Yalla, Fred's, or Superica for dinner.

The S.O.S. Tiki Bar

The S.O.S. Tiki Bar

340 Church Street, Decatur, GA 30030
, 404-377-9308

We always love when we have a chance to go here. SOS is a great spot for a fun tiki drink and a rotating menu of pop up restaurants. There can be a bit of a wait on weekends so plan accordingly!

For all the days along the way
