We met through a mutual friend named Modern Technology, talking for a while before meeting in person. The silliness, goofiness, and nerdiness from both sides was pretty palpable through the phone, but tenfold when we met face to face. We both worked random schedules at the time but would always do whatever it took to hang out with each other. Everything was pretty simple as we bonded through our love for animals, food, travel, and learning new things. Fast forward 3 years and we are now engaged! We have four animals and endless ideas about how to accommodate more in the future. We aim to keep pushing each other to achieve our biggest goals and be better people, and can't wait to keep adding to our family!

Our family has grown drastically over the years and we couldn't be happier with it! Buddy has been with us through everything and we love him so much. He's so smart and silly and has such a calm and happy demeanor but don't let that fool you! When he's feeling up to it, his favorite pass-time is being a little trickster. But home felt- dare I say- TOO calm and quiet, so we wanted to throw a little madness into the mix! So in came Bella at the beginning of 2020. Bella loves anything that moves and wants to be friends with (and lick) everybody. She has so much love to give and has taught us and Buddy more patience and sensitivity. We fell in love with her wrinkles, sweet eyes, and energy! We were looking for a puppy friend for Bella to play with, but life had other plans! We found a stray kitten several months into 2021 and it was a no-brainer that it was going to come home with us. We named it Mabel, but during the first vet appointment we found out that Mabel was actually... Mr. Mabel! And the name stuck. Since we found him as a baby and brought him home to a dog household, he thinks that he is a dog and it shows in his feistiness. His favorite pass-time is pouncing on the dogs when they least expect it and initiating hours long wrestling matches until he gets tired and falls asleep. Shortly after we brought home Mr. Mabel, we came across a couple with the friendliest puppy and they could not keep him. We had discussed that we were going to meet him and then take a couple of days to make sure that it was the right thing to do. But anyone who knows how we are knows that we walked away from the meet-and-greet with him in arms and huge smiles on our faces!! He settled in seamlessly with all of the other animals and is so incredibly curious. He flops his big paws everywhere because he does not know how to use them yet but is already the smartest puppy we've ever met! He's always eager to learn and play and keeps us on our toes. And that completes our little family!!!
